Meet Andy

MJ229690.jpg

Andy is a proud Texan, having lived in the Dallas-Fort Worth area since 2010. Although he was born in Arizona and grew up in Kentucky and Tennessee, he got to Texas as soon as he could! He is married to his wife Kesiah, and they have one daughter, Olivia. Andy and Kesiah served as Southern Baptist missionaries overseas for over three years, and their Christian faith has deeply informed Andy’s commitment to building a Texas that is a beacon of hope, justice, love, prosperity, and community.

An immigration lawyer by trade, Andy currently works at World Relief Texas, a refugee assistance organization where Andy leads the legal department. His and his team’s work to help our Afghan allies navigate the U.S.’ broken immigration system has been critical to their survival as they seek to make new lives for their families here in the United States. He also maintains a private practice, where he has provided free legal representation in immigration court for clients seeking asylum from persecution in their home countries.

Andy is a graduate of the University of Memphis School of Law in 2010, and received his Bachelor of Arts in Theatre/Speech from Union University in 2006. He was elected to, and served on, the City Council of Aledo, Texas before he and his wife were called to be missionaries. Andy and Kesiah planted churches in Arlington, TX and overseas in Seoul, South Korea.
